Things To Do:
Fishing, hiking, sightseeing, golfing on our 6 hole boreal "golf course",
viewing historical mining artefacts, picking berries, relaxing, socializing,
viewing wildlife, playing horseshoes, swimming (not recommended in June) sitting
around a fire or enjoying the hot tub.
If you want to do something
other than catch a lot of fish, you can spend time hiking and exploring one of
the abandoned gold mine sites in the area dating from the 1930's and 40's.
If you have binoculars and a
camera you may spot local wildlife. Guests have viewed wolves, moose, black
bear, grizzly, bald eagles, golden eagles, otters, loons and lots of ducks.
Sandy Point Lodge is a great place
for the whole family, young and old. Whatever you choose to do during your stay
you will be impressed by the peace and quiet of the genuine northern wilderness
that is Gordon Lake. |
